Okanagan Century Ride - 2009 : On Sunday May 31st, 2009, I had the pleasure of photographing the Century Ride organized by Okanagan Bicycle Riders Association. This Gallery contains the images from that day. I photographed at four main locations: • the start line • big hill on Salmon River Road • 58k turn around & rest stop • Last hill on Knobs Hill road If you were a participant and would like some of the images displayed please contact me by email and tell me the number of each image. The last 4 digits is all I need - CenturyRide_20090531_???? Jpgs suitable for email, facebook, and web pages are $8 each. 5x7 prints are $12 each. Orders 10 or more images/prints receive a 10% discount.

Recent Photos : These images were taken around my home in Kelowna, BC, Canada. I haven't been getting out into the mountains, but I wanted to shoot some images. The urban shots were a lot fun to experiment with. As for the sunset images of Kelowna and Lake Okanagan, I was very happy with the results.

Jersyland : This photographic essay is from a visit to Jerseyland Organics I made in September. I wanted to capture a "day in the life" and arrived at around 5:00 pm in the afternoon. The first images are evening shots around the pasture. The calf was only 2 hours old and still being cleaned up by mom. In the morning, we were up just before 6:00 am and I photographed the morning milking. The cows certainly know the drill and I was amazed how they all wandered quite calmly in and out of the milking shed. Jerseyland Organics is an organic dairy farm located in Grand Forks, British Columbia where Jeremy and Keely maintain a modest herd of Jersey cows. Their main products are cheese and yogurt which are all produced on the farm with milk from their own cows. Many thanks to Jeremy and Keely for their hospitality and allowing me to photograph their farm.
